Description

Short title: Attorney General v Vaughan.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Banks, kt (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): John Vaughan, James Lewes, Henry Vaughan, Richard Newell.

Subject of depositions: Mines called "Moyn y gragoman" in the parish of Llanvihangel y Croythen (leased to Sir Gellie Meyrick and Sir Richard Lewknor by James I) and the parishes of Llanavon and Llanvihangel aforesaid. Metes and bounds.

County/place: Cardigan.

Date of commission: 6 July 1636.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 September 1636 at Aberystwith.
