Plaintiff(s): William Godolphin.

Defendant(s): The Mayor, William Maddren, aldermen and commonalty of the borough of Penzance (Cornwall), John Game, William Norsworthy, Roger Polkinghorn, Thomas Laveles, Anthony Gubbs, John Chergcome, Robert Luke, Malarish Roch, Thomas Bennett, Pascowe Ellis, Thomas Rowe, Edward Sachell, William Edmondes, William Boskenninge.

Subject of depositions: Manors of Alverton and Penzance. Custom of "suit and service" to Tolcarne Mills, in the parish of Maddren.

County/place: Cornwall.

Date of commission: 28 November 1635.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 7 January 1636 at Penzance.
