Description

Short title: Leppington v Tutvill.

Plaintiff(s): William Leppington.

Defendant(s): Charles Tutvill, Robert Benington, Andrew Jefferson, John Robinson, Richard Coates, William Simpson, Henry Clubley.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Hunmanby, and mills there called "The Ould Mill" and "Gardiner's Mill." Custom of "suit and grist" [i.e. grinding corn, etc.] to mills.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 17 June 1635.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 3 September 1635 at Hunmanby.
