Description

Short title: Attorney General v Heard.

Plaintiff(s): William Noy (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): Alexander Heard.

Subject of depositions: Resistance made by defendant to the seizure of prohibited goods (butter, raw hides, etc) by the customs officers on board his ship the "Hoope for Grace" lying in the "King's Road" off the port of Bristol. ".

County/place: Bristol.

Date of commission: 28 November 1632.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 29 January 1633 at Bristol.
