Description

Short title: Attorney General v Nanton.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Robert Heath, kt (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): Sir Robert Nanton, kt, and his wife Dame Penelope, late the wife of Sir William Lowry, deceased.

Subject of depositions: Lands, etc. of Sir William Lowry, deceased, in Carmarthen and Cornwall, including the Grange of Osterlow, in the parish of Llanyihangell, Aberow, and the rectory there, and the manors of St Wynnow, Trelosk, Bridged, Treliver, Fentenvedua.

County/place: Carmarthenshire; Cornwall.

Date of commission: 16 June 1630.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 18 August 1630 at Bodmin, 20 and 26 September 1630 at Carmarthen.
