Description

Short title: Morgan v Williams.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Lewis Morgan, kt.

Defendant(s): Rice Williams and his wife Alice, George Abrahall, an infant, William Lewis Jones, John William Price, Walter Griffin, Morgan Jenkin.

Subject of depositions: Lands in the town of Newport (Monmouthshire). Whether they are parcel of the late dissolved chantries called "Jenkin Clark's Chantry" Morgan ap Rossers' chantry, and the chapel of St Lawrence there.

County/place: Monmouthshire.

Date of commission: 25 June 1629.
