Description

Short title: Quarles v Sadleir.

Plaintiff(s): John Quarles, Thomas Billingsley.

Defendant(s): Sir Thomas Sadleir, kt, Thomas Sadleir, Bridget Goddard, Thomas Randall, Edward Ward, Thomas Weekes, John Watkins.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to lands in, and the parsonage of, Fisherton Anger, parcel of the manor of Fisherton Anger (Wiltshire). Whether in Queen Mary's reign in the possession of Edward Ferrers and Mary his wife, afterwards in that of John Powell, after in possession of Hugh Powell and Thomas Powell his executor, and since belonging to Elinor, widow of Hugh, and now wife of defendant Sir Thomas?.

County/place: Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 16 June 1624.
