Subject of depositions: Manor and castle of Carlisle, and the demesnes in the parishes of St Mary and St Cuthbert, in Carlisle, and Stanwick alias Stannix, near Carlisle. Metes and bounds. Touching the petition of tenants to the Earl of Salisbury (the Lord Treasurer), for a composition to be made for confirmation of their tenant right. Whether Thomas late Lord Dacre, was seised in fee of one of the tenements in question lying in Stanwick aforesaid? By what tenure defendants hold their lands?.
