Description

Short title: Reve v Devereux.

Plaintiff(s): John Reve.

Defendant(s): Sir Wr. Devereux and Dame Elizabeth his wife, formerly Elizabeth Bayspoole, daughter of Robert Bayspoole.

Subject of depositions: Law charges brought by plaintiff, an attorney, for a suit prosecuted by Robert Bayspoole and defendants against Richard Snelling. Touching the last will of Robert Baspoole, said to be nuncupative, by Thomas Holbeck, and the appointment thereby of Holbeck as executor, and suit brought by Holbeck against defendants.

County/place: Norfolk.

Date of commission: 28 November 1609.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 13 January 1610 at Beccles.
