Description

Short title: Swaine v Lapworth.

Plaintiff(s): William Swaine, committee of the body and lands of William Willoughby, gent, Her Majesty's warde.

Defendant(s): Michael Lapworth.

Subject of depositions: Close or pasture belonging to the Welloughbys, called "Fackley" paying a rent of £4 6s 8d to the Crown, and another called "Hoo Fackley" belonging to the Lapworths (paying a similar rent), both in Folkeshill (Warwickshire).

County/place: Warwickshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1599.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 4 April 1599 at Fokeshill.
