Description

Short title: Lewes v Bulkley.

Plaintiff(s): Howell, Lewes.

Defendant(s): Sir Richard Bulkley, kt, Thomas Glynn, Morgan ap Hugh ap Edmond, Owen ap Robert, David ap Robert ap Meredith, Morgan ap William Thomas ap Richard, Ritterch ap Rees ap Jevan, Alice Verch Hugh.

Subject of depositions: Lands called "the lands of Gwas Mihanget ", "being escheat lands" lying in a hamlet called Penbol, in the comot of Turkelyn (Anglesea), granted by Queen Elizabeth to Owen Wood by Letters Patent in reversion to Mr Howard, and demised by said Owen, together with lands in Rhosbeirio, Llandisnan, and Trelowarth (? Anglesea).

Date of commission: 12 February 1597.
