Description

Short title: Typper v Colt.

Plaintiff(s): William Typper Robert Daw.

Defendant(s): George Colt, John Gally, George Smith.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Netherhall, in Cavendish (Suffolk), and lands called "The Rushe Pasture" in Burrefelds, the town of Cavendish (Suffolk), and Padbrook Street, in said town. Whether lands held by defendants and their ancestors were given to maintain a chantry priest or priests in the church of Cavendish (Suffolk). [The name of George Cavendish is mentioned].

County/place: Suffolk.

Date of commission: 28 November 1595.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 29 January 1596 at Bury St Edmund's.
