Description

Short title: Mathewe v Sprynte.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Mathewe, William Newcombe, William Patie, Edward Wrayford, William Stephins, John Prestin, Thomas Bullock, Roger Cauntor, Richard Noseworthie, Alexander Bilsforde, Alice Nicolls, Syblye Frende.

Defendant(s): Gregory Sprynte.

Subject of depositions: Woods called Awswell, Awswell Woode, Awswell Downe, Welster Rode, Borowgh Woode, Holmarshe Watertorne, Large, and two mills in Large, in the parish of Aishberton, late the inheritance of Richard Duke, deceased, and now of Christian Sprynte, daughter and heiress of said Richard and wife to said defendant.

County/place: Devonshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1584.
