South Africa: 'Plan of a part of the Colony of Natal'. Map shows land between Durban and the River Tugela, divided into lots, some numbered, others with proprietors' names. Scale: 1 inch to about 1 mile. Compass indicator. Signed by William Booth Scott, Powis Cottage, Haverstock Hill, 28 September 1850. Two adjacent lots (69 and 70) are annotated: 'Divided into Farms, with temporary residences erected thereon to be allotted to Emigrants expected to arrive at Natal in July and August'.
