4 items. (3-4) Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey. 'Ordnance Map of the Lands about Aldershot, Sandhurst, and Woolmer showing the War Dept. Property and the 6" and 1/2500 sheets comprising the same': two copies of a map of the area between Wokingham in the north-west, Guildford in the east and Hawkley in the south-west. Reference table to colouring (shown by overprinting and MS). Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1890. Coloured overprinting shows the sheetlines of 1:2,500-scale maps. Coloured MS additions to item (3) show the boundaries of Aldershot District and the proposed War Department boundary as agreed and as proposed to be revised on 18 May 1899; MS reference notes; a coloured pencil inscription states that the 'sheet attached' [item (4)] supersedes this map. Coloured MS additions to item (4) show revised War Department boundary of 18 May 1899, and the revised boundary of Aldershot District. Item (3) damaged at the upper left-hand corner.
