[Sudan: ?Wadi Halfa]. 'Sketch of proposed jetties for the Nile': elevation and section. Scale: 1 inch to 4 feet. Signed by T C Symons, Royal Engineers, Deputy Surveyor, 27 August 1884. The drawings offer no clues to the intended location of the jetties; the suggestion of Wadi Halfa is taken from the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps).
