Order from Canton prefect to hong merchants. The foreign ships off the Nine Islands and Lintin have been named by the sub-prefect for Macao and according to a witness's deposition one of them, the country ship Chi-li, was involved when Huang was killed. The hong merchants are to ascertain immediately what part of India she comes from and whether she was entering or leaving port. (Dated: 3m 20d).
