Description

Out-Letter Book.

  • Copies of out-letters from Sir Joseph Paxton relating to the Army Works Corps.
  • The letters are of an administrative nature dealing with the allotments of money, payment of credits, bounties and gratuities, death of workmen and the disposal of their effects. Almost all were signed by Frederick Wragge.
  • There is an incomplete alphabetical index of addressees at the front of the book.
