Requisition Book.
- This book details the issue of stores to individual regiments of the Cavalry Division. It is in tabulated form, chronologically arranged, showing the number of items issued against the date. Items issued which were not in the table were also noted against the date of issue. Each double page refers to a different regiment.
- The stores issued were mainly items of camp equipment, entrenching tools, horse equipment or clothing.
- The back of the volume contains copies of letters sent by the Quartermaster General's Department of the Cavalry Division between 16 February 1855 and 17 July 1856. There is also a chronological précis of the letter giving addressee, date and purport of each letter.
