Captured ship: Bachelor of Hull [otherwise Batselaar] (master William Idle, prize master Adrian van Dort of Flushing).
Capture history: an English ship, bound from New York (then occupied by the Dutch under Cornelis Evertson) to Cadiz, where it was retaken in March 1674 by Idle with its Dutch cargo of sugar and tobacco, but with no water or provisions. See HCA 32/1945/19 for the capture.
Allegation and claim (9 July 1674) of William de Pester (otherwise Guilliame de Peijster, Peyster), merchant of London, for beaver skins seized at Plymouth, 9 July 1674; refers to 5 original letters in Dutch, attached:-
