Folios 201-202: Charles White, HMS Favourite at the Nore. Following orders boarded the Peterel to enquire as to what happened on board the Friendship Collier, of which Edmund Coppin was the Master, as stated in the unsigned 3 July letter addressed to Philip Stephens. The incident relates to the firing of musket and people concerned were Samuel Bessan, Master's Mate of Peterel who ordered Coxswain John Cole to fire.
