Folios 197-198: Charles White, HMS Favourite, the Nore. Replying to Admiralty letter of 23 June with regard to the impressing of Ralph Maddison. Under orders of Admiral Dalrymple was sent to the Sandwich.
Folios 199-200: enclosure with folios 197-198. Letter dated 21 June 1794 by John Ibbetson, Admiralty Office. Refers to petition received for the discharge of Ralph Maddison who is an apprentice to Robert Topliff, owner of the Jenny. Encloses Petition and Indenture (not with documents) and requests the reason for his being impressed.
