Crime: Larceny. [Stealing a knife and fork.]
Initial Sentence: Seven years transportation.
Gaoler's Report: ‘Thrice before convicted’.

Petitions and letters: The prisoner is sorry for the offence and the shame he has brought on the family and asks to be granted a Ticket of Leave, for the sake of his aging mother.
A second petition from the prisoner, with same request, now on the Stirling Castle hulk. He states his conduct has been good.
