Folios 488-489: First Lieutenant Henry Fage Belson HMS Briton Chatham. He writes that the tanks ordered for the ship to hold fresh water will not hold as much water as if the water was held in casks and explains the dimensions and shape of the ship which causes this to be the case. He asks therefore that casks be substituted for the tanks.
