Folios 195-196: James Masters, HMS Meteor, Spithead. Reports on Corporal William Thompson, deserter from 10th Regiment of Light Dragoons on Rear Admiral Rowley's orders. Age 28, five-foot two height from Lincolnshire was discharged from HMS Zealand 13 March 1804 has deserted from HMS Meteor at Portsmouth. Says he doesn’t appear to ever have been a soldier.
