Folios 418-419: Henry Mitford, HMS Matilda, at the Nore. Enclosing two Acting Orders for his boatswain, Mr Jesse Dean, and recommending him for his good work and conduct.
Folio 420: enclosure with folios 418-419. Letter of appointment of a new Boatswain, from Rear Admiral Henry Harvey, Commander in Chief of HM ships employed at Barbados and the Leeward Islands, due to the ill health of current Boatswain Edward Hanlon.
Folios 421-422: enclosure with folios 418-419. Letter of appointment from Captain Henry Mitford, of Jesse Dean, Boatswains' Mate, as Boatswain of HMS Matilda.
