Folios 92-93: Wilson Rathbone, HMS Santa Margarita, Plymouth Sound. Reports his arrival with his homebound convoy, having seen no warships except one American gunboat. He had reached the West Indies on 26 June. Is sending with Sir Edward Berry despatches [not present] from Rear Admiral Alexander Cochrane plus a copy of the Admiral's order to him, a list of defects and [also not present] the state and condition of his ship. If Sir Edward is unable to travel by express he will send the despatches with another officer.

Folio 95: enclosed with folios 92-93. Copy of orders from Rear Admiral Alexander Cochrane, Commander in Chief, Leeward Islands, HMS Northumberland, Carlisle Bay, Barbados, to Captain Wilson Rathbone, HMS Santa Margarita, 28 June 1806. He is ordered to return to England and to forward despatches to the Admiralty by express.
