First party: Walter and Elias, sons of Thorald de Weltune [Welton].
Second party: Ranulf de Luda [Louth].
Place or subject: One perch of arable land in the territory of Weltun [Welton] lying next between Ranulf's land and the land of Hugh, son of Gilbert Neucumen, and it abuts towards the north upon the land of the nuns of Ormesby [Ormsby] and the land of Alan son of Brian. To hold to Ranulf and his heirs or assigns of Walter and Elias and their heirs freely, quietly, peacefully and in inheritance, paying yearly to Walter and Elias and their heirs one root of ginger at the feast of St James for all secular services, customs and demands. For 2s which Ranulf gave to Walter and Elias in advance.
