Folios: 361-361v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Quitclaim.
First party: Peter Galle.
Second party: Odo, his brother.
Place or subject: A capital messuage in which Walter Galle, their father, lived in Salfletebi [Saltfleetby], with the patronage of the church of St Clement and the whole land which was of their father in Saltfleetby and Mannebi [Manby], with all appurtenances. For this quitclaim Odo gave Peter sixteen acres of land in the territory of Saltfleetby on the south side of Neudich next to the land which was of Almmeth on the east, 7½ acres where Anke lived, and 6½ acres of meadow which lie on the west side of the house of Roger Pian; and five acres at the house of Robert son of Harald. And half of a meadow which was of their father next to the house of Joscelin Galle, namely the side towards the south. And half of the share which their father had in the marsh of Holm towards the east. And ten marks which Odo gave to Peter. And they are to render both of their services which pertain to their lands to the chief lords.
