History: a French merchant ship (barque, 20 tons, 6 guns) bound from Bordeaux to Dunkirk, laden with wine and pitch; taken on 8/18 April 1696 in the Bay of Brest by HMS Germoon Prize (Thomas Smith commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
