Captured ship: St Francis of St Malo (master John Cod).
History: a French merchant ship (90 tons) bound from St Malo to Dublin, laden with molasses, hops, tobacco, ginger and raisins; taken on 5/15 March 1689/90 off the Scilly Isles by HMS Crown (Simon Foulkes commanding) and brought into Falmouth.
