Description

Captured ship: St Antoine de Padua or St Anthony of Padua of Dunkirk (master Laurent Vione).

History: a French privateer (30 tons, 6 guns, 27 men), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 9/19 January 1695/6, off Calais by HMS Milford (Thomas Lyell commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth.
