Captured ship: Adventure of the Three Brothers otherwise L'Adventure des Trois Freres of Roscoff (commander Pierre de la Marque).
History: a French privateer (30 tons, 6 carriage guns, 47 men, previously taken from the English and judged good prize), bound from Roscoff on a cruise; taken on 5/15 August 1695, off the Lizard by HMS Crown (John Guy commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
