A letter to Lord Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson at The Hague [Netherlands] from Mr de Lorthe, dated at Monsieur Coyle, Dormoind quay [?Ormond Quay], Dublin, concerning a pension granted by Mr Blathwait [Blathwyt. He seeks a raise to a captain's level, and advises that he is willing to go to Holland to get it. If that's not possible, he requests a letter to give to Lord Galloway authorising eight month's leave.
