Folios 207-208. A letter from J [John] Ellis to Lord Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson, dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex]. Reports on a present lack of a quorum of Lords Justices and Lords of the Treasury, on account of the fine weather enticing them to the country, mentioning the Lord Privy Seal [Earl of Pembroke] being in Wiltshire, and Lord Romney, Lord Sunderland, Lord Chancellor [John Somers], and Mr Chancellor [?of the Exchequer, Charles Montagu] being in Tunbridge [Kent]. Also mentions charters for the New East India Company and for the General Society being despatched for the Great Seal.
