Printed prize appeal from the High Court of Admiralty.
Captured ship: Graf Bernstorff (master Augustus Bonge (or Menco Diepen)).
Nationality: Danish.
History: bound from Batavia to Copenhagen, laden with sugar, coffee, and other East India produce; taken on 17 September 1798 by HMS La Sensible (John Baker Hay commanding), and brought into Lisbon and then into Falmouth.
Appellant: The master on behalf of Messrs de Coninck and Co, and of Messrs Duntzfeldt and Co, merchants of Copenhagen.
Respondent: The captor and HMPG.
Bound printed appeal with manuscript decree of 29 July 1801 (folios 178-221).
Decision: condemned.
