History: bound from the Bay of Bourgneuf to Newfoundland, laden with salt and provisions for fishing; taken in May 1667 about 140 leagues from the entrance to the Channel by HMS Adventure (John Torpley commanding) and HMS Victoria's Prize [HMS French Victory] (Thomas Scott commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
