Wilfred Graham BURCHETT, alias Peter BURCHETT: Australian. BURCHETT was a journalist best known for his coverage of areas of conflict in South East Asia. His reports on the Korean and Vietnam wars in the 1950s showed strong Communist bias; and in the case of the Korean war he became notorious for his efforts, apparently in support of the Chinese authorities, to subvert allied POWs
