Description

Captured ship: Nancy (master Tracey).

History: an English brig (60 tons, 6 prize crew, usually 3 men), laden with wine; taken on 19/30 April 1745 in latitude 47°W by the French privateer Le Mars (Roulier commanding), retaken on 20 April/2 May 1745 by the privateer Queen of Hungary of Bristol (John Engledue commanding), and brought into Bristol.
