Description

Captured ship: Eendraght or Concord or Concordia of Bremen (master Reinhard Schroder).

History: a Bremen merchant ship (40 lasts, guns, men), bound from Bremen to Bristol, laden with linen, pipe staves, Pyrmont water and lampblack; taken on 18 June 1745 by the French privateer La Royale, and retaken at Ostend by HMS Bridgwater (Lord George Graham commanding), HMS Sheerness (William Gordon commanding) and HMS Ursula (John Fergusson commanding), and brought first into Ostend, and then into London.

  • [CP 9-CP 10]: commission of appraisement and inventory;
  • [CP 11]: allegation;
  • [CP 12-CP 13]: attestation as to papers, and abstract and translations of the 11 ship's papers [these papers were restored].
