History: a French ship (a snow, 40 tons, 6 men), bound from Olonne to Bordeaux, laden with salt; taken on 3/14 November 1746 at the entrance to the River of Bordeaux by the privateer Cumberland (John Mauger commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
