High Court of Admiralty.
Captured ship: Swallow of Balbriggan (master John McGrain or McGrane).
History: an Irish merchant ship (40 or 50 tons, 8 carriage guns, 3 or 4 swivel guns, 16 men), bound from Roscoff to England, laden with tea, port wine, brandy; taken on 30 July 1782 near Hartland Point, Devon, by HMS Lively (John Inglefield commanding), and brought into Milford Haven, Wales.
Court papers: 1-14; Ship's papers: 15-16.
