Captured place: Fort San Ferdinando d' Omoa, governor Don Simon Dasnao (or Desnaux).
History: a captured and sacked fort [Fortaleza de San Fernando de Omoa] in Guatemala [now part of Honduras], taken on 20 October 1779 by HMS Charon (John Lutrell commanding), HMS Lowestoff (Christian Parker commanding), HMS Pomona (Charles Edward Nugent commanding), HMS Porcupine (John Packenham commanding), and Racehorse and others; and whose goods and documents (ammunition, slaves, stores, ordinances and 300 million Spanish silver dollars in 2 ships at the fort) were part brought into Jamaica and part brought into London.
