Captured ship: St Andreas (master Johannes Pettersson).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (122 tons, 10 men), bound from Bordeaux to either Ostend or Guernsey, laden with wine, brandy, soap, fruit, vinegar and oil; taken on 9 March 1781 at six or seven leagues east of Ushant or thirty leagues off Guernsey by the privateer Peggy (Thomas Gibson commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
Court papers: 1-49; Ship's papers: 50-112. [These are interim paper numbers, and are likely to change once more fully catalogued].
