Folios 286-287: Thomas Lavie, Chatham. Reports he has received a packet of additional signals and advises that the fishermen in the district are enrolling to serve voluntarily. Proposes to proceed to Milton and Queenborough to see what progress the Officers there under his command have made. Advises he enquired at the dockyard whether they have received orders respecting the ships launches but it seems no orders have been received.
