Folios 184-185: Thomas Larcom, HMS Diomede, Spithead. Advises he wrote to Rear Admiral Sir James Saumarez on 1 August 1803 requesting a Court Martial to try William Price and another letter on 7 September 1803 requesting a Court Martial to try John Smedbae, both for desertion. Notes that a Court Martial has been ordered for John Thompson, Boatswain's Mate, HMS Diomede and wonders if a letter from Sir James Saumarez about the other 2 persons has gone astray.
