Description

Folios 152-153: Frederick Langford, HMS Fury, the Downs. Advises that James Smith has been discharged from HMS Fury.

Folios 154-155: enclosed with folios 152-153. Letter dated 6 June 1803 by Francis Engleheart to the Admiralty. Petition by James Morden, Master, the St. Petersburg Packet of Colchester which was boarded by HMS Fury, Captain Langford, on the River Colne and impressed James Smith, his Mate. Asks for his discharge.
