Folios 349-350: Peter Heywood, HMS Nereus, Chatham. The three men:- Martin Sheldrake - Quartermaster and James Bowman - Quarter Gunner having been absent upwards of 3 years from England on a foreign Station before they joined this ship on 20 July 1809 and being delirious of having the usual leave now granted to them. He request to know their Lordships pleasure respecting these two men & at the same time to say that they are two of the most deserving good men.
