Folios 106-107: Joshua Sydney Horton, Liverpool, Regulating Captain. Reply to letter 2 September. Says Thomas Guile age 18 born Liverpool was sent to the Rendezvous by the magistrates and been to sea twice: David Windram age 40 who he wrote of in his letter 13 August was born in North Carolina and has no protection. Came on Le Fortune from New Provenance [Bahamas?]. Is married.
Folios 108-109: enclosed in folios 106-107. John Molyneux, Liverpool, 31 August 1809. On behalf of John Guile. Asks what substitute is required for his discharge. Says he’s only made one sea voyage.
Folios 110-111: enclosed in folios 106-107. Margaret Windram petitions for her husband Davis Windram impressed. Six children and elderly mother. Can he be discharged for substitute landsmen?
