Description

Folio 33: Peter Halkett, HMS Ganges, Spithead. As requested he lists the lieutenants currently serving on HMS Ganges. They are: Robert Scallon, Edmund Stackpole, Joseph Gramshaw, who was appointed by Vice Admiral Berkeley, William Hall and Daniel Henley who has been an acting Lieutenant by order of Sir Samuel Hood since 3 November 1807. He asks that he be allowed to keep Mr Gramshaw and recommends strongly that Mr Henley be confirmed as a Lieutenant.
